Skilled Vehicle Technician required to maintain and repair fleet and customer vehicles to high standards, ensuring safety, quality compliance and reliable service delivery in a fast-paced workshop.
Vehicle Technician (Edinburgh)
Job Purpose
To carry out repairs and maintenance on TCR and customer vehicles to a high standard, in line with company Health and Safety policies and ISO quality frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Repair and maintain vehicles and plant as directed by the Workshop Supervisor
Carry out inspections, diagnostics, brake and smoke tests
Accurately complete job cards and inspection reports using the tablet system
Identify and report required work, parts, defects and vehicle off-road (VOR) issues
Ensure correct handling, labelling and storage of parts and tooling
Comply with all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures
Health & Safety Requirements
Act responsibly to prevent injury to yourself and others.
Follow all safety rules and operating procedures.
Correctly use PPE and safety equipment.
Report all accidents, incidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions to your Supervisor.
Cooperate in investigations of any safety incident.
Highlight any unsafe equipment, practices, or hazards.
Participate in improving company health & safety practices.
ISO Requirements
Follow Company Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
Work in accordance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001 procedures.
Ensure all work, documentation, and services comply with ISO requirements.
Support correct waste segregation for environmental compliance.
Report incidents and near misses in line with IMS procedures.

Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence (essential)
Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence (desirable, not essential)

Week 1: Monday to Friday (5 days)
Week 2: Monday to Friday (5 days)
Week 3: Monday to Sunday (7 days)
Week 4: Wednesday to Friday (3 days)
Average of 5 working days per week over the 4-week cycle.

06:00 – 14:30
08:00 – 16:30
