HR Generalist
The opportunity
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing various human resources functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves handling recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance-related activities. The HR Generalist will act as a key resource for employees and management, supporting HR initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
This position is available in Taylor, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois.

Implement and oversee HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide conflict resolution strategies.
Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, updates, and employee inquiries.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, maintaining up-to-date HR documentation.
Maintain and manage employee records in HR systems.
Support performance management processes, including performance reviews and goal-setting initiatives.
Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and engagement.
Lead and support HR projects that improve workplace culture and efficiency.
Assist with payroll processing and maintain HRIS systems as needed.
Perform other operational and business support tasks as assigned, maintaining flexibility and professionalism.
Who we are looking for someone who:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an HR role.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.

UNLIMITED REFERRAL BONUSES
Pay range: $70,000-$75,000 based on experience and qualifications.
