Job Summary:

Ensure the safe and reliable operation of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to support efficient airport ground operations.

Job Responsibilities:

•        Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Ground Support Equipment (GSE).

•           Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

•          Conduct equipment inspections and ensure serviceability before release for operations.

•          Attend to breakdowns and carry out on-site repairs when required.

•         Maintain proper service records and daily timesheets.

•          Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and workshop standards.

•          Report faults and major repair requirements to Supervisor.

• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in workshop and work areas.

Requirements:

•          Certificate / Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.

•          Minimum 2–3 years relevant working experience (GSE / heavy vehicle / industrial equipment preferred).

•          Hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

•          Knowledge of hydraulic systems will be an advantage.

•          Able to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.

•          Possess valid driving license (Class D or GDL preferred).

•          Able to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required.

•          Physically fit and able to work in outdoor / airport operational environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience handling airport Ground Support Equipment (tow tractors, belt loaders, GPUs, etc.).

• Basic welding and fabrication skills.

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning.
