Vehicle Washer - Heathrow
The Opportunity
Join our dedicated team as a Vehicle Washer, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the workshop, steam cleaning vehicles and any ad hoc tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Steam cleaning vehicles
Clean inside of vehicles and ensure vehicle cleaning supplies are ordered when required
Record work completed on work order and time sheet
Yard cleaning
General ad hoc duties
Outcome, Results and Key Performance Indicators
Vehicle steam cleaning
A clean and presentable workshop environment
Health and Safety Requirement
To act responsibly and to do everything possible to prevent injury to themselves and other persons
Observe all rules and appropriate operating procedures/instructions regarding safety always.
Correctly use safety equipment, protective devices and PPE (if applicable).
Inform immediate Supervisor of all accidents, dangerous occurrences, near miss events, damage or potentially dangerous situations, whether persons are injured or not.
Cooperate in the investigation of any accident or incident.
Report any unsafe or defective plant, tools, equipment, PPE, practices, methods or other hazards.
Participate in improving health and safety in the Company by making suggestions in these matters to the Operation Manager, Workshop Supervisor or Safety Representative.
ISO Requirement
Adhere to the Company Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental policies.
Follow Safe Systems Of Work procedures in line with the ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 management system framework.
Adhere to compliance obligations, needs and requirements.
Ensure suitable identification and segregation of waste for compliance with ISO14001 obligations.
Ensure that all activities are performed in a safe manner, both for yourself and others, and ensure that the procedure for reporting incidents, near misses, etc. are followed (IMS).
