HGV Mechanic
The opportunity
Due to continued expansion and growth, M50GSE Dublin Airport are looking for an enthusiastic, can-do HGV Technician to join their busy Service and Maintenance Team. M50GSE currently provide maintenance and repair services for the total up-keep of over 1,000 units for major Airline, Airport and Ground handling companies. Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 0800 to 1630
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Perform routine inspections and carry out services of different levels
Carry out fault diagnosis, service, maintenance and repair on a varied fleet of HGVs, LGV's & Airport related machinery
Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Provide updates on a daily basis
Ensure good housekeeping by maintaining a clean and safe workplace
Work with Van/Truck models such as Scania, Volvo, Mercedes, MAN, DAF, Ford and Citroen.
To undertake any other duties or activities as required
Key Skills and Competencies:
Be a fully qualified HGV/LGV Mechanic
Hold a full Licence (Preferably C- but not essential)
Be a people person with excellent interpersonal and people management skills
Demonstrate strong organisational and planning skills
Be friendly with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Be diligent, with a flexible and can do approach to work
Work well under pressure

Experience:
HGV or LGV Mechanics: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification: Clean C Licence (preferred)
