Electrical Maintenance Technician

The opportunity 

M50GSE Dublin Airport is looking for an Mechanic/ Electrical Maintenance Technician with a proven background in the automotive/commercial industry.

M50GSE currently provide maintenance and repair services for the total up-keep of over 1,000 units for major Airline, Airport and Ground handling companies.

Full-time, Permanent. Salary commensurate with experience.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 0800 to 1630

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, trouble shoot and repair aircraft ground support and industrial equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls.

• Read, interpret electrical drawings, schematics and the electrical code specifications.

• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.

• Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators and industrial batteries.

• Conduct preventative maintenance programs.

• May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.

• Good decision maker and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

• Excellent time keeping and punctuality

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Driving Licence (Essential).

• Mechanic with strong background in DC electrics (Essential)

• Strong communication skills, both written & verbal.

• DC Systems and Generator systems an advantage

• Knowledge of repair and fault finding.

• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

• Strong team working ethos.

• Very good English language skills
