We are seeking a Senior Paralegal to join our Legal team at our HQ near Brussels. You will play a key role in structuring and managing legal operations, enabling lawyers to focus on high‑value strategic work.
This is a hands-on and highly operational role reporting to the Head of Legal, where you will act as the backbone of the legal function.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Business, Finance, and executive leadership, contributing directly to the efficiency, compliance, and scalability of the organisation.
Your impact will be visible across multiple domains including corporate governance, M&A support, insurance, contracts, and compliance.
A snapshot of what you will be doing here:
Insurance
Manage policy administration and the certificates/renewal calendar across entities and jurisdictions
Support claims handling (logging, broker liaison, claims register)
Support insurance due diligence for M&A
Corporate governance
Maintain corporate registers (directors, UBO, cap table) and the PoA register
Prepare board packs and draft resolutions from templates
Coordinate signatures, apostilles, and statutory filings (Companies House, KBO, etc.)
Track corporate deadlines and support KYC/UBO refresh administration
M&A Support
Maintain the DD checklist tracker and deal timeline/milestone tracker per transaction
Organize data room documents; track post-closing integration items to completion
Licenses & regulatory filings
Maintain the operating license register with renewal alerts across the group.
Contracts management
Support with contract repository and tracker
Support the approval/signature process; triage standard contracts (e.g. NDAs)
Track auto-renewal and cancellation deadlines
Maintain the post-signature obligations register
Real estate
Maintain the real estate register and track lease expiries, security deposits, and bank guarantees.
Compliance
Maintain the policy tracker and training completion register
Provide TCR Academy administrative support
Organize third-party/vendor due diligence documentation
Litigation & disputes
Track procedural deadlines and maintain the litigation tracker (entity, counterparty, forum, value at risk) for quarterly reporting
Liaise with external counsel on logistics
Data protection
Maintain the RoPA, vendor DPA tracker, and privacy notice inventory, flagging gaps or outdated records.
General
Draft simple standardized correspondence
Maintain organized legal filing systems
Track external counsel invoices against budget
Minute legal team meetings and track action items
We are looking for an individual who:
Has 7+ years of experience in a paralegal or legal operations role
Holds a degree in law, business administration, management or related
Has strong organizational and documentation discipline across complex environments
Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Is comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Brings experience in corporate governance, legal administration, or similar areas
Is autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented
Is fluent in English, Dutch and French are a strong plus
