SUPERVISOR
Job Purpose:
The supervisor assumes the end responsibility over its unit. He/she is responsible over the quality, efficiency, safety, environmental standards and resources of his/her unit. He acts as Team Leader over the Junior supervisor and the employees within the unit, and ensures a proper teamwork
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Health & Safety
· Assumes responsibility over the safety within the unit
· Actively implement a safety culture.
· Lead by example and act responsibly.
· Observe and adhere to all rules & regulations with regards to safety.
· Lead and drive the correct use of safety equipment, tooling and PPE.
· Report all accidents, incidents, near misses and potentially dangerous situations in Quentic or to the internal/external OHSE responsible. Eliminate any immediate safety threat by resolving the dangerous situations, eliminating the threat or stop the operational activities.
Team leader
· Act as a true leader following the TCR Leadership Principles;
· Assume responsibility of employees within the unit
· Manage the workshop proactively;
· Plan and organise daily activities;
· Actively coach his/her team;
· Coordinate subcontractors;
· Take part of Recruitment activities;
· Follow-up of time sheets in Proteam;
· Actively monitors team availability ensuring a minimum occupancy rate (holiday planning)
· Give support to the Administration
· Prepares and provides yearly performance review to team
· Acts as employee responsible in case of performance issues
Customer Service and Client Communication:
· First point of contact for clients;
· Takes care of the daily communication towards customer with regards to GSE of the unit
· Attend meeting with clients ;
· Ensure that all Service Level Agreement are respected
· Prepare quotes for repair works towards customer
Planning and approval of Service Orders:
· Plan and dispatch service orders created by SAP
· Monitor backlog list and assume responsibility over unit backlog
· Act as first point of contact in case of call-outs to ramp
· Ensure quality and completeness of service orders by team
· Act as first point of contact for questions of approval team
Ground Support Equipment:
· Check and Follow-up of Work In Progress (WIP);
· Execute Walk around and Quality check;
· Report critical anomalies to Operation Manager;
Who we are looking for someone who:
· Leadership skills
· Technical Graduate or equivalent by experience ;
· Proficient knowledge of GSE equipment;
· Proficient knowledge of electricity and mechanics;
· Proficient knowledge of Diesel engines (EURO 4, 5 and 6);
· Proficient knowledge of electronics and hydraulics;
· Problem Solver ;
· Safety, quality work and customer and supplier relationships are important to you;
· Dutch or French native with good level of English ;
· Drivers licence B.
