The Opportunity

As a Service & Operations Manager, you’ll manage daily workshop performance, technicians and fleet availability while driving operational improvements and strong customer outcomes.
A snapshot of what you will be doing here:
Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and achievement of performance objectives.
Drive operational outcomes and ensure service compliance across all workshop activities.
Manage fleet performance, ensuring a high level of equipment availability.
Drive business KPIs and proactively implement improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Drive financial performance and manage revenue and cost budgets effectively.
Monitor technician productivity and manage overtime to ensure a balance between efficiency and operational demands.
Manage customers & vendors, foster long-term customer relationships and improve customer satisfaction.
Foster a positive team culture through clear communication, performance management and training.
Undertake HR-related responsibilities including management development initiatives, training coordination and supporting performance reviews.
Support business development by identifying opportunities for new contracts and operational growth
Who we're looking for:
Experience successfully directly leading teams of technicians and workshop staff while managing a diverse fleet.
Direct responsibility for operational P&L and experience driving key financial outcomes such as job profitability, chargeable hours, gross margin, subcontractor costs and parts and labour control.
Strong technical background in maintenance or engineering operations. Hands- on mechanical background highly advantageous.
Experience implementing career development initiatives, collaborating with HR regarding employee training and performance reviews.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage relationships and address operational challenges.
Strong change management skills, with the ability to implement operational changes effectively and guide teams through new processes and improvements
